With continued escalation in the prices of hospital requirements, the rise in the cost of living, and the consequential need for rising emoluments of the employees, a voluntary organization like the Sevashram has perpetual problems. Working on charitable and philanthropic principles with limited funds it has to face the problem of finding extra resources for meeting not only the demands of its developmental activities but also the increased cost of up keep of the Polyclinic even in its existing level of growth. We have passed through the vicissitudes of many difficult situations during the last several years and had to overcome numerous obstacles. This has given us both courage and confidence to look beyond for the further progress and development of the institution. We look forward not only to the quantitative and qualitative improvement of our services but also to the propagation of the ideals of the Ramakrishna Mission in the right spirit. Our ideal is to render medical service to suffering humanity, irrespective of race, colour and creed in the highest spirit that service to man is worship to God, as propounded by Sri Ramakrishna and practically demonstrated in his life. We believe that this faith will be the constant and pervasive motivating spiritual incentive, permeating all our activities. This will keep aglow the hearts of all those who are associated with the working of the Sevashram at all levels.

With the advancement of the technology and natural demands of expansion, the institution requires latest machines and technologies to pass on the benefits to the patients. There are a number of priority demands. Their implementation must necessarily depend upon the availability of funds.
